What you'll build
- Use Telugu's eight cases (vibhaktulu) accurately — especially dative -కి/-కు, genitive, locative -లో, instrumental -తో and ablative -నుంచి.
- Build oblique noun stems (ఇల్లు → ఇంటి, పిల్లలు → పిల్లల) and attach postpositions like కోసం, గురించి, దగ్గర, తరువాత correctly.
- Recognise and undo the four native Telugu sandhis (utva, atva, itva, yaḍāgama) and the Sanskrit sandhis (savarṇadīrgha, guṇa) when reading compound words.
- Read everyday signboards, shop names, road warnings and metro/bus signage with confidence.
- Read a Telugu tiffin/meals menu plus prices, weights and quantities without transliteration crutches.
- Read notices, circulars and informal WhatsApp/SMS Telugu, adjusting for register.
- Decode Telugu news headlines and short snippets — including numbers (లక్షలు, కోట్లు, శాతం) and honorific reporting verbs (ప్రకటించారు, తెలిపారు).
- Distinguish written గ్రాంథిక Telugu from spoken వ్యావహారిక Telugu and choose the right one for the situation.
- Fix the two error families learners get wrong most: case selection (dative vs genitive vs locative) and gender/honorific verb agreement (వచ్చాడు / వచ్చింది / వచ్చారు).
- Type Telugu on your own phone using phonetic transliteration, and compose short polite messages.
