What you'll build

  • Get around Hyderabad by auto, bus, metro and cab: negotiate fares, give directions and reach your destination in Telugu.
  • Shop in vegetable markets and kirana stores: ask prices, bargain politely and pay by cash or UPI.
  • Order food and tea with confidence, specify veg or non-veg and your spice level, and settle the bill.
  • Handle your home and PG: talk to landlords, house help, watchmen and neighbours about rent, repairs and daily needs.
  • Manage health and services: describe symptoms at a pharmacy or clinic, and deal with the bank, recharge and emergencies.
  • Make workplace small talk, introduce yourself and make polite requests to colleagues in Telugu.
  • Choose the correct honorific (mIru vs nuvvu) and match verbs to gender, number and respect.
  • Apply the dative and possessive case endings (-ki/-ku, naa/mI/maa) correctly in everyday sentences.
  • Understand natural-speed spoken Telugu across 30 real Hyderabad situations, aided by slow audio and romanization.
  • Recognise the main Telangana-vs-Andhra spoken differences so you are understood across both regions.
