• Recognize and write all 16 Telugu achchulu (vowels) plus the two yōgavāhakalu — sunna ం and visarga ః
• Read and write all 36 hallulu (consonants), organized by the logical 5×5 varga grid plus the avargīya letters
• Hear and produce the sound contrasts English misses: short vs long vowels, retroflex vs dental (ట/త, డ/ద, ణ/న), and ల vs ళ
• Read any consonant + vowel-sign combination (guṇintaṃ) — the system that turns the alphabet into every syllable
• Read and write the most common vattulu (subscript conjunct letters) like క్క, న్న, ళ్ళ, స్ట and క్ష
• Read Telugu numerals ౦–౯ and count from one (ఒకటి) to ten (పది) aloud
• Sound out real Hyderabad signboards: ఆసుపత్రి, బస్టాండ్, మార్కెట్, హోటల్
• Spell loanwords in Telugu script — and use the same rules to work out your own name
• Say your first phrases aloud: greet, thank, and tell people you are learning Telugu
• Build words from letter parts and keep every akshara alive with spaced-repetition decks
