What you'll build

  • Handle autos, cabs, buses and the metro in Kannada — destinations, fares, meters and stops
  • Buy vegetables and groceries and order food with quantities, prices and polite requests
  • Talk to a PG owner or landlord about rent, deposit, bills and repairs
  • Run daily errands in Kannada — bargaining, mobile recharge, bank, courier, tailor and laundry
  • Describe symptoms at a pharmacy or clinic and use the key emergency phrases with confidence
  • Manage office introductions, canteen small talk, invitations and polite goodbyes
  • Use the politeness system correctly — nīvu, -i verb forms and 'rī' — so you sound respectful, never rude
  • Use dative 'nanage' patterns for needs, likes, knowledge and aches — the number-one learner mistake, fixed
  • Understand slow, clear Bengaluru spoken Kannada across all 30 situations
  • Build simple sentences of your own from SOV patterns instead of only reciting fixed lines
