What you'll build

• Assemble a callback-ready CAD portfolio of four complete, dimensionally-verified parts modelled in your own free CAD tool
• Prove each model is correct by reading its mass properties (volume and surface area) and matching them to computed targets
• Produce a complete manufacturing package — part, assembly, BOM, and a fully-dimensioned first-angle drawing with GD&T
• Spot and fix the standard drawing-package errors (projection, over-dimensioning, missing tolerances, BOM/balloon and revision faults) that get portfolios rejected
• Compute worst-case tolerance stacks and ISO 286 clearance fits, and write design-intent documentation a reviewer can act on
• Navigate the NAPS/NATS apprenticeship funnel — register as a private candidate, read dated stipends honestly, and target rolling OEM drives
• Package verified skill evidence for HR portals — GrabCAD profile, CSWA prep pointer, Open Badges, LinkedIn add-to-profile and copy-for-Naukri blocks
• Practise the documented GCC/ER&D 90-minute aptitude pattern and the GD&T-heavy technical Q&A Indian interviewers actually ask
• Survive an AI mock design-engineer and CNC-programmer interview, including the project deep-dive round that eliminates copied portfolios
• Leave with an honest launch plan across apprenticeship, GCC-GET, shop-floor and freelance routes — no placement or vendor-certificate promises
